Ever since Superstar Rajinikanth completed the shoot of Shahrukh's much awaited Ra.One. the entire Rana team is thrilled and excited. They are now confident of starting the shoot of Rana in December or January. At present, director K.S. Ravikumar is busy finalizing the venues and foreign locations for the shoot. Rana is a big-budget action flick in which Rajni plays triple role.
Unlike Muthu and Padayappa, Rana is a period flick! The roles involve intense physical activity like horse riding and each costume weighs around 25 kilos. The film has Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone as the leading lady and Sonu Sood plays the baddie. Oscar winning musician A.R. Rahman will compose the music while Ratnavelu handles the camera.
