Both 7aam Arivu and Velayutham will release on Diwali day. In fact these
are the only two straight films to hit the theatres this Diwali. The
producer of 7aam Arivu, Udayanidhi Stalin has said his film has 47
screens in Chennai alone. This created a lot of expectation
among Vijay fans who were eager to know the number of screen for Velayutham.
This
announcement has now been made and it is 38 screens. Trade analysts say
that 7aam Arivu’s presence has diminished the number of theatres for
Velayutham. With the industry striving on stiff competition, it’s all in
the game!
