National award winning director Vettri Maran is all set to start his long pending project Vada Chennai soon. As usual, this Vettri Maran flick will be set in the bylanes of Chennai with a realistic touch. Sources say this film will narrate the story of a good fisherman who unwittingly falls in the trap of a mafia gang.
Vada Chennai will be produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies.Though there were earlier reports that Karthi will play the lead role in Vada Chennai, the director is yet to take a final call. An official announcement is expected soon.
